The Australian Network of the International Women’s Insolvency & Reconstruction Confederation (IWIRC) was established under an official charter granted by IWIRC in November 1995. IWIRC(WA) was a chapter of that national network.

IWIRC(WA) became RINWA in 2018, which stands for Restructuring & Insolvency Network Western Australia. RINWA will continue to encompass the fundamental IWIRC objective, to promote diversity in the insolvency industry. It is hoped that RINWA will be known, as was its predecessor, for being a welcoming environment filled with opportunities for practitioners (in particular junior practitioners) to build their professional networks.
